"WT AmeriCorps is helping me out a lot when it comes to figuring out my post-college career plan, which is great. I've really been enjoying serving with AmeriCorps and I think that I've been growing as a person and a professional from it!"

Caitlin supports students in classrooms and through the Writing Center. She also provides academic coaching and connects students to resources to support their success.

Chloe Barham

Chloe Barham joined WT AmeriCorps in 2024. She serves with the WTAMU Cornette Library in a Library Community Resource role.

“My exposure to high school students from the more rural areas of the Texas Panhandle has made me realize how important outreach programs like the one at the Cornette Library are.”

Chloe helps build and implement outreach programs for local area high schools, provides support for student programs at the library, and creates or assists with workshops for the WT community and other designated communities.

“I know it may seem small, but I firmly believe the Cornette Library's outreach program is incredibly important to the success of Texas Panhandle college hopefuls. I am very passionate about local non-profits and service. Local issues are the pathway to solving ‘big picture’ issues, though I never had this awareness before being placed in an area of local service."
